Cali Sandwich & Pho

Love this place. So reasonable in price, the staff is super polite. The food is incredible, and I usually don't like pho at all. Try the pork sandwich, you won't regret it. Would definitely recommend to anyone.

Best porkchops with rice #17: 10/10 Banh mi pork : 8/10 I go here all the time to eat their porkchop with the broken rice and it’s so juicy and flavorful with the right amount of char and lemon grass I recently tried the banh me and its crunchy on the outside , soft inside, with really flavorful pork on the inside. Definitely one of the better banh mis I’ve had in town. If you want a treat, go get some Vietnamese coffee too, it tastes authentic

My wife and I stopped here to try out pho in a different city and we absolutely loved this place! We were greeted and sat immediately by friendly staff. It has such a homely atmosphere about it where you know you're gonna be treated just right. As for the food, I got the Combination Pho with a small Thai Tea. The Thai Tea is one of the best ones I've had at a Vietnamese restaurant ever and it was gone immediately. The Pho was very delicious. The assortment of meats it came with was plentiful and balanced with the quality of noodles as well. My wife got the Combination Sandwich and the first bite in, she was in heaven. She couldn't stop giving praise about the quality of food and service that was provided. This will be a go to place every time we stop into town now.

Best tofu Bahn Mis in Houston since Les Grivals (which was the best) closed and Cali’s menu is not only absolutely delicious, it’s wonderful for vegetarians! Good tofu dishes, with well cooked tofu (less common than you’d think in this day of many vegetarians ). Love this place and it gets my highest level of recommendation! The chili lemongrass tofu, as well as the spicy garlic tofu have become my 2 favorite tofu dishes that I’ve ever had! Spiced and cooked perfectly every time I go, and along with their super fresh tofu spring rolls, this place is truly the best, and I hope that more people will eat at this place because truly no one else does it better than Cali Sandwich and Pho!!

I came here before, last year and loved it so had to come back. I parked in their parking lot and walked in. We were greeted by a nice guy and was told to sit anywhere. I ordered a large lemonade which I enjoyed and was huge fyi. I ordered the rice noodles and shrimp and my friend ordered the same with an egg roll. When the food came out they had a fish sauce to add to the dish and it made the dish that much better. The food was very good but it had too much vegetables but I still loved it. The total for me came to 13 which was a good deal. I had a good experience.

We dove straight into the menu, and the grilled pork Banh Mi was a revelation. The crusty baguette held a perfect balance of sweet and savory with the tangy pickled vegetables and the melt-in-your-mouth BBQ pork. We shared an order of crispy fried egg rolls, the delicate spring rolls bursting with savory goodness. But the star of the show was the bo luc lac. The cubes of marinated beef were beautifully tender, the caramelized sauce clinging to them like a sweet dream. Every bite was an explosion of flavor. The service was friendly and prompt, ensuring our lunch flowed smoothly. We left Cali Sandwich & Pho feeling happy and utterly satisfied. If you're looking for a taste of Vietnamese cuisine in Houston, this spot is a must-try!

I have been a customer for years and haven’t been in a while due to some construction that is finally finished and I honestly was so happy to be back! The family oriented restaurant is a 5 star in my book! Everything is always soo fresh and delicious! Best Pho in town!!

Solid food!!! The grilled pork vermicelli is so good, lots of meat, paired with the crunchy veggies, every bite is perfect. I have sensitive stomach so eating out leaves me feeling uncomfortable and bloated a lot of the times, but the dishes at this place just tasted like fresh, good quality “real food”, my stomach felt great afterwards. The meatball soup leftover I got turned into gelatin in my fridge, heard that’s an indication of good soup. Def going back to try their pho.
